GSSAS Leadership

GSSAS focuses on embracing and providing leadership to every member in our organization. There are 4 main ways to gain leadership listed below.

Leadership Opportunities

State Officer team

These officers oversee roles that include all members from across the state. We help organize and maintain the quality and impact of your organization through overseeing opportunities, social media, and fostering stronger  community connections.

Subcommittee Leads

With various subcomitees such as the research, volunteering, compeititon,. and workshop subcomitee, we select various subcomitee leads with extensive experiance in their respective areas to help lead projects within the group and oversee member involvment.

School Representative

With members from various schools and locations, School representatives will be the face of their school's members for various projects through GSSAS such as volunteering projects, service projects, and school competitions.

Project Lead

Any member can gain this leadership by creating a project idea and filling out the innovation form located on the website. Accepted projects will be driven and lead by the member who took the initiative for the idea. We encourage you to get creative, find partners, and create meaningful projects/opportunities that GSSAS can get involved in.
